About us

Welcome to be still & knit! I am so glad you found me. I'm a wife, mother of two, and a fiber artist. I have enjoyed knitting and crocheting items for my family for nearly three decades. I now use my experience to teach classes and create unique clothing for families in the Denver area and worldwide.

I started out my career as a rocket scientist, and when I became a mom, I took a break from the scientific world. I have been crocheting for nearly three decades and decided to teach myself to knit. I was only marginally successful. I found that you really need to see knitting happen to learn how to do it. Those photos in the books just don't give you enough information.

Once I mastered knitting, I found myself teaching my friends to knit, and that became be still & knit. I've been offering my programs and products since 2005 and am excited about so many offerings I have planned for the future.
